Warranty Coverage

This Limited Warranty is in addition to, and does not exclude, any other statutory rights and remedies you may have under Australian Consumer Law. This warranty is only available to the original purchaser for products purchased directly through DesksOnline.com.au and is not transferable.

Exclusions

The following are excluded from our standard 15-year warranty:

  • Custom-made and made-to-order items: These items may have specific warranty periods that will be clearly indicated on the individual product pages.

  • Discounted or clearance items: These items may have shorter warranty periods, which will be clearly indicated on the individual product’s page on our website.

  • Other Items as indicated: From time to time we may exclude certain items from the 15-year warranty period, this will be clearly noted on our website.

Making a Warranty Claim

Products Damaged in Transit

We take great care in ensuring all products are securely packed and transported in pristine condition. What is the warranty period for your products?

Most of our standard products are covered by a 15-year warranty. Other items including custom-made, made-to-order items, other specific items from time to time as well as orders over $25,000, may have specific warranty periods, which will be clearly indicated on the individual product pages or communicated at the time of purchase.

What does your 15-year warranty cover?

Our 15-year warranty covers manufacturing defects and functional issues for the reasonable expected lifespan of the product under normal use and conditions.

What happens if a product covered by the warranty is discontinued?

If a product covered by the warranty is discontinued, we will offer you a comparable replacement, a refund (which may be prorated based on the age and condition of the product), or a credit towards the purchase of a new product. The specific solution will depend on the availability of comparable products and your individual circumstances.

Can I purchase an extended warranty?

Currently, we do not offer extended warranties beyond the standard coverage outlined in this policy.

What if I don't have the original proof of purchase?

In most cases, we can locate your order using your name, email address, or delivery address. However, it's always best to retain your original proof of purchase for warranty claims.

What is not covered by the warranty?

Our warranty does not cover damage caused by:

What if I need to return a product for inspection?

If we need to inspect your product, we will provide you with a prepaid return shipping label. Before scheduling a pickup, please send us a photo of the repackaged product with the return shipping label attached. In many cases, we may authorize you to keep the defective item and will ship a replacement directly to you.
