At DesksOnline.com.au, we strive to dispatch and deliver your orders as quickly and efficiently as possible, according to the shipping service you select at checkout. However, unforeseen delays may occasionally occur.
Order Processing and Handling
In most cases, your order will be processed within 10 business days. Some products may have longer delivery times, which you can find on the product pages. Orders with multiple items or large projects may require additional processing time. We recommend ordering well in advance for these orders and contacting us to coordinate your ideal delivery date. You can also request a specific delivery date at checkout.

Delivery timeframes depend on the delivery area, order processing time for included products, and the chosen shipping service.
East Coast Metro Delivery Areas
Delivery times and costs apply only to the following East Coast Metro postcodes:
- Sydney (postcode 2000)
- Canberra (postcode 2600)
- Melbourne (postcode 3000)
- Brisbane (postcode 4000)
- Gold Coast (postcode 4217)
- Adelaide (postcode 5000)
Regional Delivery Areas
Orders outside these postcodes are considered regional deliveries and may have different rates and delivery estimates. We may contact you if there are additional costs or unreasonable delivery times for your order. In such cases, we may cancel your order or offer a full refund.

Delivery Location
We deliver all orders to the ground floor of the specified address. The delivery driver may be able to assist you by bringing the order to a higher floor if there's a working lift with sufficient capacity. Please notify us during checkout if your order requires special delivery arrangements.
If you purchase assembly/installation with your order, our team will handle delivery to higher floors based on your answers to our Delivery Questions.
Delivery Cost
Delivery costs are based on information you provide before checkout, as covered in this policy. If we discover inaccurate information, we may postpone, terminate, or redirect your delivery. This may involve collecting your order from a depot near you or incurring additional transport costs.
Shipping Carrier
We dispatch orders across Australia through various partners, including Mainfreight, Allied Express, Couriers Please, Australia Post, Aramex, and DesksOnline.com.au Local Carriers and Installers. We choose the carrier based on order size, route efficiency, special delivery requirements, and assembly/installation services.
Generally, we cannot ship to PO boxes except in special circumstances (e.g., replacement parts). Most orders are shipped as parcel freight. Larger orders may require pallet freight shipping and will be delivered on a pallet to your address.
Split Delivery of Orders
We strive to ship orders as a single delivery, but due to product, supplier, packaging, or carrier limitations, this may not always be possible. We will notify you in advance if your order will be split and do our best to ensure the deliveries arrive close together.
Expedited Freight Protection
We offer an optional Freight Protection policy that provides priority replacement of damaged products. You can add this option during checkout.
Benefits of Expedited Freight Protection
- Priority Customer Service: Your claim will be processed as quickly as possible.
- Advanced Shipping: We will ship a replacement before receiving the damaged goods back.
Making an Expedited Freight Protection Claim
To make a claim, you will need to provide photo or video evidence of the damaged product within 3 business days of receiving it. Freight Protection applies only to the damaged product itself, not the packaging.
General Freight Protection
All our shipping carriers offer insurance that covers your delivery for loss or damage during transport. In some cases, we will make the claim on your behalf, while in others, you may need to make the claim yourself. We may not provide a reimbursement or refund before a freight claim is made. This will be determined during the Returns and Warranty process.
